Nexus 7 Sold Out

Google’s Nexus 7 it’s very popular these days, with several major retailers running out of the Google tablet in its first day of sale in U.S.

GameStop unveiled on Friday that it sold out its first two tablet allocations for the Nexus 7 and it’s awaiting a third allocation sometime in the future. ”We blew through the first two allotments,” a GameStop spokesperson said.

Sam’s Club and Staples listed the slate as being sold out on their websites yesterday. Office Depot continued to offer the Nexus 7 on its website for pre-order, limiting the purchase to two per person.

Adorama posted on Twitter on Friday afternoon that Nexus 7 already sold out and it was shipping all the stock to the customers that pre-ordered the device. You can still pre-order from Adorama’s website but the estimated ship date is around “mid-August”.

The Nexus tablet has been available for pre-orders directly from Google and some retailers in the last few weeks and Google reported that it began shipping the Nexus 7 on Friday.
